2nd International Summer School on Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion, mESC-ISS2017, took place in Dilek Kaya Hotel, Ortahisar, Cappadocia between 23-25 September 2017 with participation of  M. Kadri Aydinol (METU), Montse Casas-Cabanas (CIC energigune), Dag Noreus (Stockholm University),  Mehmet Ali Gulgun (Sabancı University) Y.Eren Kalay (METU), Gulfeza Kardas (Cukurova University),  Saim Özkar(METU), Meltem Sezen (Sabancı University), Saban Patat (Erciyes University), Burak Ülgüt ( Bilkent University), H.Emrah Unalan (METU) and Vlodymyr Yartys (IFE).

3rd round of pre-application  was ended on August 20th 2017. Applicants who have been accepted to the program in the third round were announced at this link  and registrations are due by September  8th
2nd round
of pre-application  was ended on July 24th 2017. Applicants who have been accepted to the program in the second round were announced at this link  and registrations are due by August 5th
1st round of Pre-applications for summer School ended on June 15th 2017. Applicants who have been accepted to the Summer School were notified and registrations were completed by July 5th 2017.

Summer school on materials for energy storage and conversion is a 2 days training school which precedes the symposium. The school  concentrates on advanced characterization techniques common to all three activity areas, Batteries, Fuel Cells and Solid State Hydrogen Storage(SSHS) as well as overviews on selected topics in Batteries, Fuel cells and SSHS.
