The summer school precedes the symposium and aims to bring new comers-early researchers with those experienced in the field. The school covers the state-of-the-art reviews in selected topics plus in depth coverage of materials and electrochemical characterization techniques.
We plan hands-on sessions on Rietveld refinement of XRD/Synchrotron data. We are also considering to include similar sessions on electrochemical impendence spectroscopy for battery as well as for fuel cells research.
Details regarding hands-on sessions on Rietveld and EIS would soon be announced on this page.
Topics to be covered in the summer school are as follows;
Material/Electrochemical Characterization
Mario El Kazzi: Photoelectron spectroscopy in battery research
Y.Eren Kalay:In Situ Synchrotron Diffraction and Rietveld Analysis
Matthew Lacey: Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy for Battery Research
Meltem Sezen:Focus Ion Beam Techniques in Material Characterization
Servet Turan Advanced Techniques in Electron Microscopy
