mESC-IS 23

mESC-IS 23, The 7th International Symposium on Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion, will take place in Akyaka 11-14 September 2023 ( the venue and the date to be confirmed). As before the symposium will provide a forum for discussion in recent progress made in four major activity areas, namely i) batteries and supercapacitors, ii) fuel/electrolytic cells iii) hydrogen for energy storage and transport and iv) active material development and recycling. The symposium will have a fair balance of plenary sessions on cross-cutting issues and the state of the art reviews plus in-depth parallel sessions on specific topics with invited, contributed papers and poster presentations.

The symposium will follow an international summer school (mESC-School 23) to take place just prior to the symposium.

The symposium will comprise sessions as outlined below( the concentration areas listed below are tentative and in the process of being renewed. If you would like to propose a session in this symposium please link to session proposal for further details)

Batteries & Supercapacitors
-Novel battery chemistries
-Li-ion /Na-ion batteries
-Metal-air batteries
-Flow batteries
-Alkaline batteries
-Capacitive energy storage systems
