The symposium dinner will take place on the third day of the symposium, i.e. on Wednesday September the 3rd. This would follow Spin-off Poster and Exhibit session which we would have in the afternoon. Having explored a number of possibilities, we have decided to have the symposum dinner at İzmit Sailing Club Restaurant (İzmit Yelken Kulübü) . Overlooking the tranquil waters of İzmit Bay, İzmit Yelken Kulübü offers an elegant setting for the symposium dinner. Known for its scenic waterfront location, refined atmosphere, and fresh seafood. The venue combines comfort in a relaxed environment, ideal for conversation and connection. We plan to announce the winners of Young Researchers Award during the dinner, i.e. if we can manage to finish the evaluation procedure on Tuesday’s poster session.

For the accompanying persons, we will plan programs in and around İzmit provided that we would be suffcient in number. Places like Maşrukiye and Sapanaca lake are quite attractive and are well worth a visit. You might plan a daily visit to Istanbul as you can travel to/fro by taking high speed train from İzmit to Soğutluçeşme . (Please book your seat in advance say a week or 10 days before) . The Journay takes about 1h 20 -1h 40 minutes. Soğutlu Çeşme is on Asian side, but you can cross to European side by taking Marmaray suburban line on the same station. Please check the metro map of Istanbul for further details .
