From Akyaka to Mugla University

The bus to the University will depart from west end of the park facing Akyaka Minibus Garaji at 9:20 in the morning. This is very close to Yucelen Hotel (see the map below). Just walk north a few minutes from Yucelen Hotels Main Entrence. You will see the buses at the corner of the park. Please be ready at the park before 9:20 o’clock. ( You will spot the bus as it is a special bus with Mugla University sign on it)


From Bodrum/Milas Airport

You can take MUTTAŞ( pronounced as Muttash) Airport Shuttle service to Mugla New Intercity Bus Station ( Menteşe Otogarı) . Then you can take a taxi to your destination.

If you want to continue to Akyaka you can take a minibus ( dolmuş) from the same bus station

Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport direct to your destination, the cost would be approximately €40-50

From Dalaman Airport

If your destination is Akyaka you can take the MUTTAS Airport Shuttle service to Marmaris . Tell the driver that you want to go to Akyaka and therefore get off the bus from Gökova. You can then take a taxi to Akyaka a short distance away from Gökova.

If your destination is Mugla, you can either take a minibus in the airport ( departure area) or a taxi to Dalaman main bus station (Dalaman otogar) and take MUTTAS service to Mugla Intercity Bus Station( Menteşe Otogarı ).

Alternatively you can take a taxi from Dalaman airport direct to your destination, the cost would be approximately € 50 for Muğla and € 40 for Akyaka

Akyaka-Mugla University

Akyaka – Mugla

There are frequent minibus services between Akyaka and Mugla. Minibuses depart from Akyaka dolmuş station ( Minibus Garaji) at Lutfiye Sakıcı Caddesi and go to Menteşe Intercity Bus station( Menteşe Otogarı) . The minibuses pass near the entrance of the university, so to reach Mugla University Convention center, drop off near the entrance and walk down few mınutes to reach the convention center,i.e. Ataturk Kultur Merkezi.

Akyaka- Mugla University Convention Center – Akyaka

There will be buses from Akyaka to Mugla University Convention Center half an hour before the session starts. The buses will depart from Yucelen hotel and will make a stop at Akyaka Bus station and continue to the convention center.

There will be return buses at the end of the sessions stopping at Akyaka Bus station and Yucelen Hotel .

If you miss the bus you can take the minibus from Akyaka Bus station to Mugla and drop off at the Entrance of the University

Menteşe Otogarı-Dormitories

Upon reaching Menteşe otogar ,you might take 1-41 Menteşe otogar- Yeniköy bus to dormitories. You can pay it with credit card . Please drop off at KYK and walk to your dormitory. Alternatively you can take a taxi to your dormitory it should not cost more than ₺ 100.

From Akyaka to Faculty of Engineering -Mugla University

The bus to the University will depart from west end of the park facing Akyaka Minibus Garaji at 8:00 in the morning. Please be ready at the park before 7:55 o’clock. ( You will spot the bus as it is a special bus with Mugla University sign on it)

From Dormitories to Faculty of Engineering–-Mugla University
Those staying at dormitories can walk up to the Faculty of Engineering. However if you prefer not to walk, you can take the bus coming from Akyaka. The bus will follow a special route and make a brief stop at KYK dormitory as well as at Residorm. Those preferring to take the bus should be ready in front of their building at 8:25 sharp.
